Questions?
For questions regarding registration, please call our registration department at +44 (0) 1737 780150 or email nng@professionalproject.com.

Payment Policy

Your registration is not complete until full payment is received.

Delegates are responsible for any fiscal or legal requirements of their own country. British law says that all delegates must pay VAT on conference registrations, regardless of their location or who they work for. Nielsen Norman Group's UK VAT registration number is 794 2796 71.

Nielsen Norman Group has contracted Professional Conference & Project Management, a local event coordinator, to handle all billing and customer service for our London event. Each registrant will receive an invoice for VAT accounting. Our invoices are issued in British pounds and they must be paid in full in that currency.

Cancellation, Substitution, and Refund Policy

If you must cancel after registering, your registration fee will be refunded less a 20% handling fee, provided that written notice of cancellation is received by Friday, 17 April. After that, the refund is 50%. No refunds will be granted after Friday, 1 May, but we will accept a substitute attendee if we receive a written note from the registered attendee stating his or her intention to transfer registration to a named individual. Email nng@professionalproject.com with cancellation, substitution, or refund requests.

Speaker Substitutions and Seminar Cancellations

We reserve the right to substitute speakers and/or cancel seminars or even the entire conference. In such cases, our liability is limited to refunding the registration fees you have paid for the affected day(s).

Speakers may need to be substituted in case of illness, accidents, airline problems, or other issues that prevent a scheduled speaker from presenting as planned. We will endeavour to get a substitute speaker, but this may not always be possible because of the expertise required and the short notice available in most such cases. If we cannot get other speakers, it may be necessary to cancel one or more scheduled seminars. Individual seminars (or the entire conference) may also have to be cancelled because of natural disasters, strikes or other hotel problems, as well as other circumstances, most of which happen with little notice.
