All conference events will be held at The Westin Chicago River North hotel, located, as the name would suggest, in Chicago's tony River North neighborhood, home to the Windy City's best shopping and sight-seeing. The Westin Chicago River North was rated on Condé Nast Traveler's Gold List as one of the finest hotels in the world. This four-star, four-diamond luxury property is situated adjacent to Chicago's central business district, overlooking the Chicago River, nestled in the heart of Chicago's theatre district, where entertainment, trendy restaurants, art galleries, and charming boutiques abound. Event Lodging:
The Nielsen Norman Group has negotiated a block of rooms at a discounted group rate of $219 per night plus applicable state and local taxes. A limited number of "business class" rooms will also be blocked for the conference and are available at a higher rate. The NN/g rates are available for reservations booked three days before and after the conference, based on room availability.
You may make reservations through The Performance Group when you register for the conference, whether you register online or by mail or fax. We'll need to know your arrival and departure dates, whether you require a late check-in, and your room preferences: king or double, smoking or non-smoking. Please mention any other accommodation requests.
Travel:

A cab ride between O'Hare Airport and Chicago costs $25-$30. From Midway Airport to downtown the cost runs $20-$25.

Meals:
Morning and afternoon refreshments and a working lunch will be provided. There will be an open bar at 5:30pm, followed by a dinner.
Chicago has some of the world's best restaurants, but if you wish to eat at some of them, advance reservations will be required. (But not on Monday, please, because of the forum dinner).
