The conference will be held at the InterContinental Mark Hopkins San Francisco, where Nielsen Norman Group has negotiated a discounted room rate of $205 per room plus tax, single occupancy.

The InterContinental is a historic San Francisco landmark situated at the crest of Nob Hill and within walking distance of Union Square, Chinatown, and the Financial District.

NN/g’s discounted room rate is available only through online registration, and does not include a 14% tax. The rate will be honored between June 19 and June 30, 2009, and is subject to availability. We recommend that you register as early as possible.

Book at least 3 nights at the conference hotel, and you will receive a US $150 credit towards buying Nielsen Norman Group research reports (www.nngroup.com/reports) at the conference (expires after the event, so come prepared).

Travel:

The InterContinental hotel is accessible via San Francisco and Oakland airports; the hotel’s website offers driving directions from each. From San Francisco International airport, you can take a taxi to the hotel for about $45. Shared hotel shuttles are also available for $16-$18, with a travel time of 30-45 minutes.

Meals:

NN/g will provide a daily continental breakfast, and refreshments during breaks.

For dinner, Nob Hill Restaurant in the hotel lobby serves innovative California cuisine with seasonal dishes. The hotel’s Top Of The Mark sky-bar, located on the 19th floor, is famous for its martinis and panoramic city views.
