How It Works
- 5 courses, 5 exams: Attend any 5 courses offered at Usability Week, and pass the exam for each course.
- Exam Deadline: To earn UX Certification credit, you must pass your exams within 35 calendar days of the last day of Usability Week.
- Exam Administrative Fees: Pay in advance when you register, or pay exam fees after Usability Week.
- Timing Requirements: It is not necessary to complete all 5 courses at a single event. You can earn part of your credits now, and finish the remaining requirements at a future Usability Week.
- Exam Access: Exams are administered online. After Usability Week ends, all training participants receive detailed instructions for paying exam fees and accessing exams.
- Specialties: Specialties are optional. If you select 5 courses within a specific topic area (such as Interaction Design, Mobile Design, UX Research, or Web Design), your UX Certificate will also include a Specialty designation indicating that your studies were concentrated in that topic.
