| Written report describing prioritized problems and issues.
The report addresses four levels of recommendations:
> Specific usability problems on the homepage are identified together with recommended changes that will improve usability. We often find around 50 things to change on each homepage.
> Relative assessment of how your homepage scores compared to others on our 113 guidelines for homepage usability.
> Task support and communications analysis of how well your homepage communicates and supports the top goals for what users can do on your site.
> Future usability directions for the homepage design and our recommended strategy for achieving significant advances in the user experience.
Frequently asked question: Can I see a sample report? Answer: Fifty sample reviews are available as part of our book Homepage Usability: 50 Websites Deconstructed. Note, however, that the reviews in the book only contain the first level of recommendations from the above list. The task support analysis and the future directions analysis are not included in the book because they are not of interest to the general readership. These two levels of analysis are highly relevant when they concern your own company, of course.
