Conference Hotel Accommodations

NN/g's discounted room rate is available only through online registration, and does not include tax. The rate will be valid between April 16 and April 26, 2015  and is subject to availability. We recommend that you register as early as possible.


UX Certification

Training courses completed at this event may be applied toward UX Certification, provided that the related exams are passed within 35 calendar days of the final day of this event. NN/g will email all participants within one week after this event with instructions about how to take exams and pay exam administrative fees. Read more about UX Certification.


Payment Policy

Your registration is not complete until full payment is received. If your company requires an invoice, please use either the printable invoice or the e-mail confirmation you will receive following online registration. Both will include the dates, the events you have registered for, and the conference fee. The Nielsen Norman Group has contracted USMotivation, a conference-management firm, to handle all billing and customer service for this event.


Cancellation, Substitution, and Refund Policy

If you must cancel after registering, your registration fee will be refunded less a 20% handling fee, provided that written notice of cancellation is received by March 27, 2015. After that, the refund is 50%. No refunds will be granted after April 3, 2015, but we will accept a substitute attendee if we receive a written note from the registered attendee stating his or her intention to transfer registration to a named individual. Email with cancellation, substitution, or refund requests.


Speaker Substitutions and Course Cancellations

We reserve the right to substitute speakers, cancel seminars, or cancel the entire event. In such cases, our liability is limited to refunding the registration fees you have paid for the affected days. Speakers may need to be substituted in case of illness, accidents, airline problems, or other issues that prevent a scheduled speaker from presenting as planned. We will endeavor to get a substitute speaker, but this may not always be possible because of the expertise required and the short notice available in most such cases.
