UX-Certified professionals: Continue your learning journey by joining our UX-Certified mentorship program. Choose your role as a mentee, mentor, or industry peer to connect with other UX-Certified professionals, share experiences, and develop skills.

Who can participate?
The Mentorship program is available to all NN/g UX-Certified professionals. All levels of experience are welcome: The program offers roles for mentees, mentors, and peers.

Are there participation fees?
No; there are no fees. Our goal is to provide a platform to foster new relationships and connections within the UX community.

What level of participation and commitment is required?
As a participant, you will:

  • Commit to a code of conduct to foster a safe and respectful mentorship environment.
  • Attend virtual group kick-off and wrap-up meetings with NN/g staff.
  • Initiate and attend at least 6 monthly meetings with your partner. We also encourage participants to contribute to a mentorship diary to document the partnership.

How long does the mentorship program last?
The program runs for 6 months, but participants are encouraged to continue building connections and networking beyond the formal duration.

How are participants matched?
Participants are matched based on interest areas, location, language, role, and time commitment.

How does the mentorship program work?
After the virtual kick-off meeting, pairs connect and are encouraged to meet monthly. NN/g supports conversations through a mentorship diary, discussion ideas, tips, and a dedicated Slack group. The program concludes with a final virtual group meeting to share learnings and experiences.

Are there any software requirements?
Zoom is required for Mentorship group meetings. Google Sheets and Miro may be used for collaboration. These tools are free and do not require account creation, but ensure your device permissions allow access.
