Chrissy Richardson

As Lead Producer at NN/G, Chrissy Richardson oversees the video production team for our Self-Paced courses. Her focus is on bringing instructors' ideas to life in ways that are visually compelling and genuinely engaging for learners. Beyond her leadership role, she remains hands-on in the work itself — contributing to video editing, animation, and original music composition.

A lifelong musician, Chrissy studied Music Recording and Production at Appalachian State University. After a brief stint in the film and television sound industry, where she accumulated credits with major networks including HBO and TLC, she went on to spend a decade as a Media Production Specialist at SAS Software. There, she honed her craft across all aspects of production, with a primary focus in audio engineering.  

As her interests expanded more into video and animation, Chrissy made the leap from SAS to NN/G — where she and her colleagues built an entire in-house production department from the ground up — drawing on the full breadth of her background to create content that makes complex subject matter accessible and memorable.

Chrissy is based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
