Christian Rohrer is the VP of Design at TD Bank, Canada’s number 2 bank and a top 10 bank in the US. As Founder and Principal at XD Strategy, a UX strategy consultancy, he advised several companies on design strategy, research and insights, organizational design, career development and measuring UX. As the former Vice President of Design, Research and Enterprise Services at Capital One 2015-2018, he headed up user research and design teams focused on identity, security and API Development. He was previously Vice President and Chief Design Officer at McAfee (aka Intel Security) from 2011-2015, where he returned in 2020 for 2 years. Christian is a veteran of web and mobile user experience design and research, having participated directly in the development of some of the world’s most popular web destinations, including Yahoo!, eBay, and REALTOR.com (Move, Inc.). He holds a Bachelors in Computer Science from UC Santa Cruz and a Ph.D in Cognitive Science and Education from Stanford University.
