Pablo Fernández Vallejo is a guest author at Nielsen Norman Group exploring the evolution of design practice and education, with a particular focus on emerging technologies and service design. He is currently Academic Coordinator at Universidad de San Andrés, a Don Norman Design Award-winning institution, where he shapes the next generation of design education.
Pablo's extensive experience spans both public and private sectors. At Argentina's Public Innovation Lab (LABGobAr), he played a key role in diffusing service design methodologies in the public sector through strategic projects, consultancy, and training programs for public servants. As a digital consultant, he has worked with global organizations including NatGeo, EA Games, and P&G, delivering user-centered solutions across diverse industries.
Pablo is a frequent speaker at major international conferences, including the Service Design Global Conference, International Design in Government Conference, and Interaction Latin America. He co-founded Buenos Aires Service Design and has organized numerous design events including Global Service Jams.
Pablo studied Industrial Design at Universidad de Buenos Aires, studied Design Thinking at the HPI School of Design Thinking (d.school) in Germany, and pursued graduate studies at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin.
