Samhita Tankala worked as a User Experience Specialist with Nielsen Norman Group. Some of her research focused on cognitive psychology and the learning sciences.
Samhita previously worked as a UX Researcher at NYU’s Elevate Lab, applying a range of methodologies at all stages of the product life cycle. Prior to joining NN/g, she carried out UX research for Mighty, an ed tech start-up based in Brooklyn. As a consultant, Samhita spent several years in the healthcare and education industries, working with a range of clients like Kaiser Permanente and the University of Texas System. She diagnosed client needs, recommended best practices and identified research solutions to pressing challenges. This experience builds on Samhita’s AmeriCorps membership, where she took part in diversity and inclusion initiatives that have helped her expand equitable design and research practices.
