Kathryn Whitenton

Digital Strategy Manager

Kathryn Whitenton helps clients evaluate and improve user experiences in a variety of industries including finance, health care, media, technology, and telecommunications, as well as corporate intranets. Through UX research and strategy consultations, she helps businesses identify and prioritize opportunities to transform their customer experiences. 

Kathryn's research expertise includes usability testing, eyetracking user research, analytics analysis, tree testing, card sorting, remote usability studies, and studies of users on mobile devices in the United States, Europe, Asia, and Australia. She works with clients to identify—or invent—the best research tactics to provide data and analysis that can drive business strategy. She has worked with general consumers as well as specialized professional audiences, children, and seniors.

Kathryn leads Nielsen Norman Group's online strategy. She identifies and executes on initiatives that leverage technology to improve customer experiences in relation to our research, training, and UX Certification programs. She is based in Denver, Colorado.
